About these terms
These terms apply to thinkspeakbecome.com and to every session, course, program and training offered by Think Speak Become ("we", "us"), run by Smayan Sahni. By booking, paying for or using any of them, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Our services
- Self-paced courses: the Foundation Session, the Feedback Lab and the modules, delivered online through our course portal
- Live coaching: the 1 to 1 Communication Diagnostic and Interpersonal Communication Coaching, one to one or in a cohort, held online
- Corporate and team training: held online or in person, under a separate written agreement with your organisation
- Communication consulting: preparation for specific high-stakes moments, as agreed with you in writing
Where a separate written agreement exists, it takes priority over these terms.
Who can use our services
Our services are for people aged 18 and over. Someone under 18 may take part only with a parent or guardian's consent, given to us in writing before purchase.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include any applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Live coaching and training must be paid for before the program starts, unless we agree an instalment plan with you in writing.
- We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects anything you've already paid for.
Delivery and access
- Courses: login details are emailed to the address you paid with, usually within a few minutes. Contact us if they haven't arrived within 24 hours.
- Feedback Lab: your audit and personalised feedback are shared within 48 hours of you completing all 18 video lessons and uploading video submissions for all 9 topics.
- Live sessions: held online, at times agreed with you.
- Course access: your login is personal to you. Please don't share it or let anyone else use your account.
Cancellations and refunds
- Self-paced courses (Foundation Session, Feedback Lab, modules): because you get access to digital content straight away, payments are non-refundable once your login has been issued. If you can't access the course because of a fault on our side and we can't fix it, we'll refund you in full.
- Live sessions (Diagnostic and coaching): you can reschedule for free with at least 24 hours' notice. With less notice, or if you don't attend, the session counts as used. If we need to cancel, we'll offer you a new time or a refund for that session.
- Interpersonal Communication Coaching: if you cancel before your first session, you'll get a full refund, minus the cost of any Diagnostic session you've already had. Once the program has started, fees aren't refundable, but you can pause it once, for up to 4 weeks.
- Corporate training and consulting: cancellation terms are set out in your written agreement.
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
To request a cancellation or refund, email info@thinkspeakbecome.com with your name and the email you paid with.
Foundation Session credit
The fee you paid for the Foundation Session is credited towards Interpersonal Communication Coaching with Smayan Sahni, if you enrol within 6 months of buying it. The credit can't be exchanged for cash.
Gifts
A gifted Foundation Session is non-refundable once the recipient's login has been issued. Before then, you can change the recipient's name or email by contacting us.
Our content and your recordings
- All course videos, activities, frameworks (including the AREAS Framework) and materials belong to Think Speak Become. They're for your personal use only. Please don't copy, record, share, resell or teach them.
- Your video submissions and recordings stay yours. We use them only to give you feedback. We'll never publish them, or use them in marketing, without your written permission.
- You may not record live sessions without our agreement.
Taking part
Please treat your coach and fellow participants with respect. In cohorts, keep what others share private. We may end access, without a refund, for anyone who is abusive or disruptive, or who shares course content without permission.
Results
Your progress depends on how much you practise and how you apply what you learn, so we can't guarantee specific results. Coaching is educational. It isn't therapy, counselling or medical advice. If you're dealing with a mental-health concern, please speak to a qualified professional.
Liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost opportunities or income. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Indian consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal. Before going to court, please contact us first. Most problems can be sorted out quickly by talking.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you buy something applies to that purchase.
