Tier 1 · Module 03

Critical Reasoning

Know what to say, how to say it and when to say it, with or without preparation.

Why it matters

Thinking clearly is one of the most powerful skills a person can have. It helps you solve problems, build an opinion and defend it.

Most people struggle to structure their thoughts and present them clearly and persuasively, especially when answering questions under pressure. Whether it's an interview, pitch, report, essay or speech, this module gives you the structures to do it.

Activities

Five activities, practised until they're yours.

01

Stakeholder Analysis

Map every opinion a topic can hold, then choose which to use and which to avoid to prove your point. You also learn how much context shapes logic.

02

AREAS Framework

A proprietary framework that makes any point memorable, impactful and easy to defend.

03

Inverse Pyramid Format

Structure your ideas around context, so the most important thing lands first and hardest.

04

Asking and Answering Questions

Frame questions that serve different purposes, and answer questions effectively under pressure.

05

Attacking and Defending Points

The best and worst ways to attack and defend a point. You practise on examples, reasoning and whole arguments, through a simple progressive system.
